No annual renewals. No bank balance requirements. No health insurance mandates. The Thailand Privilege Visa is the simplest long-stay arrangement for those who can meet the one-time membership fee.
The Thailand Privilege Visa — formerly called the Thailand Elite Visa — underwent a major restructuring in 2023, introducing tiered membership levels from an accessible 5-year Bronze option to the ultra-premium 20-year Elite Diamond. For those who qualify financially, it eliminates the annual administration burden that plagues every other long-stay visa category.
This guide covers all five current tiers, the full concierge benefits package, and the straightforward application process. For a complete breakdown including the Bronze tier closure timeline, see the full Privilege Guide.
