Stage 2 of 4
Everything you need during your first days and weeks in the Kingdom — from airport to accommodation to community.
THAIBK Airport Transfers
Your first task off the plane — getting to your accommodation. Pre-book a fixed-price transfer with meet & greet before you land.
Your accommodation host must file TM30 within 24 hours of your arrival. If they do not, the fine and 90-day report complications land with you. Confirm it was filed.
Thai ATMs cap foreign cards at 20,000 THB per withdrawal and charge 220 THB commission per transaction. Withdraw enough for your first week in one or two hits.
Grab won't work, LINE won't activate and your banking apps may flag logins without a Thai number. Your first ten minutes in the arrivals hall should include a SIM.
